Qigong Practice is a Good Soup

This soup below is like your Qigong practice.

The ingredients are simple, common.

When the ingredients are high quality, the soup is very high quality.

The soup, like your practice, is nourishing to your body, mind and spirit.

Qigong Vegetable Soup


5 medium potatoes
3 medium carrots
2 celery stalks
Olive Oil, Salt and Water

Wash and peel the potatoes, carrots and celery.  Chop into pieces approximately 1/2″ x 1/2″ and place in a large pot.  Fill with water until the vegetables are slightly covered.  Add enough salt for flavor, but not too much. Cook at low boil for 20-25 minutes.

When done, the vegetables should be very soft.  Add 2 TBSP of extra virigin olive oil and puree with an immersion blender until smooth and creamy.  Serves 4-6.
